I've presently got a couple computers with TV cards. Since Cox is going all digital (encrypting their signal), those will no longer work. Rather than shelling out $2 per mini box every month, I'm thinking SiliconDust HDHomerun Prime with a Cox cablecard may be a better alternative - giving us TV on the 2 desktops and the laptops & ipads.
My question is, what's the monthly fee for the Cox cablecard?

I asked here because Cox 'Support' told me the cablecard was $8.95/mo. via Chat on their web site. That sounded high so I thought I'd ask here.
