Introducing Cox WiFi

What is Cox WiFi?

With Cox, our customers’ High Speed Internet goes where they go. All Preferred, Premier, or Ultimate Cox High Speed Internet subscribers have access for free to over 150,000 hotspots when they travel to cities like Washington D.C., Boston, San Francisco, Philadelphia New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.   Additionally, customers in markets where we have Cox WiFi hotspots, including Northern Virginia and Connecticut get WiFi access around town and in places that are convenient to them. 

How do I use Cox WiFi? Where are hotspots?

Just look for the “CableWiFi” or “CoxWiFi” network on your WiFi-enabled devices, enter your Cox username and password, and begin enjoying FREE WiFi service. Want to find your nearest WiFi hotspot? Search on our interactive map at Cox.com/hotspots.

Update! - 11/22/13

Good news, we have recently completed our integration with Time Warner as part of the Cable WiFi partnership. Cox customers can now access hotspots in their networks like Los Angeles, New York, Kansas City, Austin, Charlotte, and more! Find these newest hotspots at cox.com/hotspots.

More good news, we have recently completed our integration with Brighthouse Networks as part of the Cable WiFi partnership. Cox customers can now access hotspots in their networks like Tampa, Orlando, Daytona, Birmingham, and more! Find these newest hotspots at cox.com/hotspots.
