Upstream

Do these levels look ok?    For a while my upstream was running between 41 and 45.   Overnight they shot up to 48 to 51.   .   Could home wiring go bad that fast, or maybe a plant issue somewhere down the line.  Could a plant amplifier be going out?  I'm not loosing connection so far.

What are you questioning...the Power Levels?  Cox would have to provide your optimal specs but these look good.

We just had some bad weather and the modem disconnected overnight.   Is that a sign of a plant issue?   Unicast errors etc etc.

Disconnected overnight?  How did you know it disconnected?  You may have had a temporary power outage...somewhere on the route...but as soon as power restored, your modem renegotiated and returned online.  The outage could have been at the plant but it could have been anywhere.

Do you have a bad connection now?

  • Is anybody in Louisiana having their internet going in and out today in Southern Louisiana.
