McAfee is asking me for a code...

I didn't receive a code when I downloaded the software.  What do I do?

    When you get to the Cox page with the download link a serial number will be provided. You can copy/paste that serial number and enter it when prompted during the McAfee installation. If you don't have the number for some reason you can repeat the download process to get a new one.

    If you can't get McAfee to work, try Avast. Also free and IMO way better then McAfee. See download link here.

    If you think you already have malware, before installing Avast, download and run Malwarebytes first.
