if you want to see larger text when reading it - ctrl + increases size of browser text, ctrl - lowers it (also ctrl scroll up/down) ctrl 0 (zero) resets to default zoom.

If you are using Cox WebMail, Grymwulf's suggestion will work just fine. Are you using Cox WebMail or an email utility like Outlook, Mac Mail, or Windows Live Mail?
