TV listing state in bold letters effective 11/10/2020 this page will be removed. Why ?

In reviewing TV listings on my Mobil device the header in read states “ this page will no longer be available effective 11/1”/2020,. What does this mean ? Channel listings , setting dvr on Mobil device will end. Really. What the heck is wrong with the tech team. A simple plate form any and all have for their customers. 
cox you charge too much not to have the basics for your customers.

    @Liane - Hi, Effective November 10, 2020, the TV listings on Cox.com will be retired, after that date please download and use the Contour App www.cox.com/.../contour-app.html.
