You can press the "My Contour" button and see that content. one of your choices on the far right is the "settings" choice. Under that choice you can see/configure video, audio, and network settings. It's essentially the settings that get set when you first plug in the streaming box and go through setup. Under network it shows you what wifi network you are connected to and the strength.
For security reasons, don't actually provide the name of this wireless network. However, can you decipher any proper name from the name of the network, such as Panoramic...Contour...Cox...etc?
If not...again, don't provide it...is there either an IP or MAC address associated with this connection.
Did you take the Pano out of Bridge Mode?
I'm going to put the away and enjoy the rest of my fathers day. Cox tech gets here tomorrow. I'll report back.
I think yes is the answer to your first question. I can log into my cox account and click on devices and see the wireless device on the network. So, I can reboot it from the web. Yesterday the tech could see the device and it showed it was working properly.
Bridge mode was already disabled.
No, I mean the wireless connection of your TV. To what device is it wirelessly connected, the Wireless Contour box?
I'm assuming, since you can either connect the Wireless Contour box to the TV via wireless NIC or HDMI, the TV only communicates with the Wireless Contour box. Since the Wireless Contour box would be near the TV...for remote control...it would be an excellent connection.
However, how is the connection of the Wireless Contour box to the Panoramic router? Also excellent?
Bridge Mode is not enabled. Good. How about MoCA on the Pano?
