Red Light Not Showing While Recording

All of a sudden, the red light on the DVR box is not on while we’re recording a show.  Is this an issue with the box, or should we just rely on our list of recordings to verify a show has been recorded?

    Well, the light just came back on. Strange how it turned off and then turned back on.  The recording was not affected.  Problem fixed.

    Hi @Hiphubby123

    I know how important it is to make sure that your recordings are running as scheduled. Sometimes the red light will be on a little longer after a recording has finished or be delayed when a recording starts. As long as your recordings are found and you are able to access them with no issues, everything is fine.

    if the light's not on, it's not recording.

    delete some recordings!!
