intermittent tiling & dropped signals in mission viejo

a couple of weeks ago we started having transmission trouble here.  it was nbc then.  tiled all the way thru ellen, commercials & all & into the evening news.  that bespeaks cox issues to me. latel...

Hi Socal, there are no open tickets related to issues with NBC or MSNBC. Is the tiling and "temporarily off air" message occurring on all mini boxes? If so, my suggestion would be to schedule a service call so an on-site technician can check the signal to the mini boxes. The mini boxes are one-way devices, so we're not able to check metrics remotely. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

    yes, it's all tv's, but not all stations.

      Hi Socal, it's not uncommon to see a signal issue only impact a handful of channels. Signal ingress or loss can sometimes affect only a single frequency or a narrow range of frequencies. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

        ok.  so if i still have the problem when we get back from our vacation i'll get someone out.  a few years ago, after almost monthly visits, they finally replaced a lot of infrastructure and the problem subsided..  but lately, it's looked like "sad-ilite." 🙂

        btw, i am getting notifications on this tv forum.  still not on the internet forum.??
