I was just told by customer support that HBO MAX is not/will not be available on my tv.
So why am I paying for HBO?

that's why you keep promoting idea to folks that they need to provide their own equipment for a much better tv experience!!

Much better streaming service...not TV.
If Cox limits Contour to certain apps and some TV manufacturers don't support other apps, why not make life easier and buy 1 universally-compatible device? Instead of having apps installed on 3 different device, just use 1 device.
The only "no workies" I've read are on Contour. If you're to stream, do it right.
