DVR will not play entire show

For over a month now I've been having a problem with my recorded tv shows.  They record on time, but when I go to watch, the show stops before completing.  If the show is an hour, I miss the last 12 minutes.  If it's a half hour show, I miss the last 7 minutes.  The message box pops up and says "Delete now?".  So I never get to see the end.  I've called COX and they've rebooted my modem and my DVRs.  Neither helped.

    Did you normally receive "Delete Now" messages before this problem?
