Dvr not working

Dvr recordings are freezing, pixelating,  then shuts down.  The system is very slow off n on- it will take up to 40 minutes to come up in AM. Then when push buttons on remote- can take up to 1-2 mins to respond.

Already replaced remote, dvr, reset multiple times, yes plugged into wall.....
