Cox Video Recording In the Cloud vs. In the Box
I just swapped out my cable box and lost all my recordings and scheduled recordings. I was told those can’t be recovered without having the cloud, which I apparently don’t have. I’d understood that with Contour, recordings are not saved on the Box but elsewhere, e.g., the cloud. The Cox website seems to have little information on which boxes and/or levels of DVR service are needed for cloud storage and the cost of what’s needed. Am I missing something here? Thanks.
