It's on their end but until one of their techs tries watching TNT on their phone you will get nothing but run-around.
On both my mobile apps and desktop browsers i will get no sound on specific channels. And it started a month or less ago. And i have not updated my mobile Contour app in that time.
However, i did get the audio back half the time when visiting the SAP settings and choosing either espanol or video description, whichever happens to be available.

I am back to the sound not working 😞 This is really odd for sure. A majority of the channels work fine. It is just a few that do not work with sound. the video description button is not able to be changed any more.

You're in an outage area at this time, that could be why you're having the audio issues. Once this outage has cleared please reach back out here so I can take a look and see what's happening with your audio. Service should be up and running at approximately 6am.

Sorry, but it is not an outage. The sound works for nearly all channels except a couple and when the video description is available, I can click on that button and get sound. Also, the secondary audio works. I also checked and have more than 100Mps download speed. I do not think there is an outage of a handful of channels for audio and the other channels work fine.

letti001....Cox says outage in area, are you not getting any sound/video on all channels or just on specific ones. Does the SAP slider not work either. I noticed that, depending on what station you view, different 3 indicators light up. No light, no option available. As CurtB says above, different markets have channel grids that differ. Cox also mentioned to check if CC works on the station, although it has nothing to do with sound working.

Secondary audio works. CC works. Nearly all channels work. And this problem has been going on for several weeks. Not new. I do not think it is from outage. On the other hand, I do not know what to think as it is quite odd.
When the video description tab is available, I can get the normal sound albeit with the video description.

Yes, certain channels is strange. What is also weird is that SAP and Video description is not always lite up. I toggle them both, hoping for sound after the screen refreshes. SAP sometimes just produces English, a few times, Spanish. Video Description...have no idea what this produces, other than make the sound occasionally appear. These buttons even sometimes work when my screen is stuck. I use watchtv but I've seen this subject of no sound on the Apps forum. The problem seems too basic that Cox has to find the issue.
