Was the box working before or is this a new install? Do you have other boxes in your house that work? Either way, make sure the coax cord connection is tight at both the box and where it connects to the wall then disco/reconnect power.

A Contour box will be unable to complete booting if it doesn't have a good signal. Are you experiencing any other issues? It could also be a receiver that's failing and will need to be replaced.

Just got the new mini box and it's not working. My old boxes worked fine. Just got new Modum so that's up to date; internet is working fine. Now, I have to a technician come out to the house to see what's the problem. I did get the welcome screen, but then it just goes away.

Hi Clp418, I'm sure the tech will be able to get this up and working. Does an error message or code ever appear on the box? Is this happening on a Mini box (does not have ondemand or apps) or a smaller contour box?
