Cable isn't working while on generator power. Is there a way to have it work while on generator power?
During power outage I have a generator that runs my house. I cannot get cable while running on generator. Is there a way to fix this?

Why is your power out? Is it a widespread outage? Perhaps it's also affecting your neighborhood node, local edge router or headend at Cox.
It was out due to weather. Effected about 500 customers. I'm ignorant to the causes you listed. Power is back on, I'm just checking for future occurrences.
What I meant was...if the outage is affecting you, it's also affecting Cox. Cox also needs power to make stuff work.
you don't seem to understand, you're the end user.
if the power outage stops delivery of internet service to the box outside your house, you have no internet service even with your own power source!!
