All shows recording to one of two record 6 boxes

We had a second record 6 installed in the guest house. At first there was crossover with some shows set to record on the first box showing up on the second. A tech came out today and installed a filter that was supposed to isolate the boxes from each other. Now everything records on the first box no matter which box the recording is set from and can only be watched on the one it recorded to. Any ideas on how to separate the two?

    Hi TECS, it is my understanding that the Contour 2 platform does not allow for standalone DVRs. With Contour 2, all host DVRs and client receivers are networked. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

      Is there a way to get it set up so both boxes record and allow all TVs to watch then?

        Hi TECS, you may want to swap out one of the host DVRs for a client receiver. That way, you'd be able to watch TV, schedule recordings, and watch recorded content from each TV. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
