Don’t feel alone, Cox as you see has terrible support, and you’ll just get a generic copy paste from a forums mod telling you to send an email instead of engaging in conversation to try and help everyone feel more at ease - Internet has been having severe issues for 3 days with me, and today is easily the worst, hopefully someone who actually can fix things is aware of the issues.

I apologize you are continuing to have trouble with our service. We are not aware of a widespread service issue. We divide our network into small sections. Each of these nodes will have about 100-300 modems and cable boxes.
By sectioning off the network into thousands of smaller networks, it limits how many modems are affected when a problem happens to occur. Then our techs can locate and repair the issue with the node. or at the home of our customer. For us to look into this we often ask customers to message us so we can locate and address the specific issue that is affecting their home or the node their equipment is connected to.
