Why isn't the phone number to cancel internet obviously posted on the website?

Just like the question asked. Why isn't the phone number to cancel service obviously posted on the website to make it easier for the customer to change or cancel service?

1-844-227-3943   I believe this is the right number? And since cox is such a strong advocate of customer service I'm sure the process to cancel will be easy and simple right?

      Just openly post the phone number to cancel service or I’ll make it my job to reply to every complaint on this forum with the correct phone number to cancel. Starting with this reply: to anyone reading this, the phone number to cancel your service is 1-844-227-3943

      Awesome thanks for your help, please just cancel my service and refund me for the rest of the month.
