Not sure if it's what you are looking for, but try here and click on "Run a Ookla speed test".
No, the URL took me to the same page I mentioned before. I looked for the "Run a Ookla speed test" but it's not on the page. FYI, I am using the latest version of the Mozilla Firefox browser.
I'll include a screen shot.

Can you try with Edge? I notice you don't have the "Let's chat" option on the bottom right either. Worked with latest firefox on Windows 10. See screenshot below.

OP only posted half the page. It's probably there.

Bruce, I scrolled further down the page and there was nothing but URLs to information, about what Internet speeds are ideal, and tips to improve WiFi, etc, etc..

I think what you see on the page depends if you have a Panoramic on your account. You could log out of Cox and click the link to see the Ookla option.
I wouldn't download an app just for a speed test. Besides, you should be testing from a variety of sites and not just Cox. Cox just wants you to download their app.

I think the point of the Cox speed test is to have the server on the edge of the ISP connection so you are testing what Cox provides. Other servers can tell you what you are getting off Cox network and to different parts of the internet.

In other words, an as-close-as-you-can-get testing server. A useful assessment but if 99% of your data comes from outside the Cox domain, I'd want an assessment of the one potential chock-point on the Internet: the Cox domain.

I did try Edge and it showed the same contents. I also scrolled further down the page, and (just like Firefox) it didn't show anything useful or anything that pertains to running ".. a Ookla test".

At least that shows the chat option, which Firefox wasn't showing. I would suggest using Speedtest.net and then click on "Change server" and pick the closest Cox server. For more accurate results, you can download the windows app.
