User ID and password for email
What user ID and password do I use for the COX email outgoing server when sending email for the first time through Thunderbird?

Are you a new subscriber? Cox stopped offering email services to new customer as of 2019. This will also mean you won't be able to use their SMTP server.
LOL. Yeah I'm new to COX. I saw that they don't offer email accounts anymore but all I need is an outgoing server for Thunderbird. They don't even provide an outgoing server? Yikes!
To elaborate further, the server exists however to use it, you'll need a Cox email account username/password which requires having a cox.net email account they no longer offer.
