Should I cancel my gigablast until cox installs a power box on my street?

I'm paying for a service that I'm basically unable to use until they get whatever contractor out here but with no definite install date presented I feel like I'm throwing money away.

I'm guessing whatever they hook the main cable to in order to get the wire to the modem.
