Senior 😕
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I'm feeling totally defeated and confused. I am a senior living on a fixed income. I was so happy to hear that cox had put a senior discount program together in my area. But after the events of the past couple of days I am starting to think I'm in the twilight zone. I enrolled in the senior discount program for cox internet for a bill total of $35.00 a month plus taxes I believe? I have yet to recieve a bill of $35.00. I have the app on my phone so I went to the chat to inquire about my account, I was totally dumbfounded when I realized the person I was chatting with had no idea about any discount program period! He continued to act as if he didn't hear me and talk over me telling me I was already receiving $85.00 in discounts what more did I want? I told him I wanted what I signed up for what I could afford what I agreed to nothing more nothing less! So he passed me on to someone else where I waisted another hour of my time trying to explain a program that according to him does not exist? Then he passed me to someone else who said the exact same thing except he also said that I should call the store because they have promos that they know nothing about? Which I thought was extremely odd? But then it hit me they just steamrolled right over me charging what they wanted thinking since I was on auto pay I would never catch on? No of course not! But I don't know what to think now my internet is off I can't speak to a person who knows what I am talking about? So what should I do? Go to T mobile or Verizon for there $30.00 senior internet? Asking for advice please and thanks for reading my rant.
