Selecting "Classic" webmail now redirects me to "Enhanced"....which is so slow for me to be unusable

This started up a couple days ago. I've tried using Enhanced webmail before but could never stomach how slow it was. When selecting "Classic" now I am redirected to "Enhanced" and even that isn't working today. Inbox won't load and shows the message "An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request". I contacted online support twice in the past 2 days and both times I was told they are working on updates that may take a few hours and just be patient or to clear my cache (not sure why that would have an effect). Fortunately I can get to my email through my iPhone but if I the Classic webmail is really gone it may be time to switch to another service. That interface is slow everywhere I have tried to use it so I know its not just my PC at home.     James

  • Hi James63, "Classic" and "Enhanced" are legacy terms that are, for the most part, now retired. Make sure you are accessing Cox Webmail via the URL myemail.cox.net or email.cox.net. Check out www.cox.com/.../email.html for more information on the new Webmail interface. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
