Hmm, maybe try not using your fire stick for a few days and see if your activity goes back to normal? As for the Telebit, not sure what that is. How many ethernet cords do you have coming out of the gateway and where do they go?
We are going on vacation soon and that will be very telling since there won't be any interenet being used during that time. There is just one ethernet and it looks like it connects to a device that runs our pool pump. Thanks for all the help!

Wow, everything is connected online these days huh? Have fun on your vacation. Feel free to update the thread afterwards.

FYI, if you are using your firestick and watching shows in 4k, it can use up to 8 gb's per hr, your typical movie is 7-9 gb's.
View data usage on Amazon Fire TV Stick
Step 1: Navigate to Settings > Preferences with the help of Fire TV Stick remote.
Step 2: Select the Data Monitoring option and then press the select key to check if the data monitoring is turned on or off. The feature is turned off by default. To turn it on, press the select button again (when Data Monitoring is selected).
Step 3: Scroll down to see the Monthly Top Data Usage option. Select that option and then press the select button on the remote to see the data usage by apps.
