a technician came to my place already he said the node isnt strong enough to provide internet for everyone. no need for a technician to come can you check if theres any work being done (upgrading the node where I live) because it seems like nothing its being done I just upgraded today my internet from 300mbps to 1000mbps to see if theres something different nope not a single thing keep having high latency in games and packet loss .

thats possible and if so you think they would ?
- Allan5 years agoModerator@Doblevlemus, Your modem is currently reporting 0% packet loss and a latency of 10.24ms. Are you experiencing this issue at specific times of the day? Also, can you have a device run a traceroute or a pingplotter to the server that you are experiencing this issue? If so, please respond back with those results. -Allan, Cox Support Forums Moderator.

Okay so ima try to explain this.
I contacted cox through the website and asked for help many times (you can check logs) they sent a signal to my modem and nothing would really happen they sent a technician and he said that the problem is that the node that is providing internet to everyone not just in my neighborhood is over populated, that it cant keep up with everyones connection.he said he doesnt know when it would be fixed but it has been 2 months at least and nothing is different. the internet seems to be somewhat good around 12 at night til 5 in the morning or 7
