Rate increase

We signed up 12 months ago on a 2 year contract that was supposed to hold our cost for the 2 year period. In that time however we have had increases in the Broadcast and Regional Sports Surcharges that amount to 65% increase. Has anyone else experienced this? Is Cox correct in doing this? The agent said it was because their rates had been increased from the broadcasters and they can pass this on? Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks in advance for any help/advise.

    If you'll look at your statement, you'll see a triangle  to the left of some line items.  The fees for these items are locked during the period of your 2 year contract.  However, "Broadcast Surcharge" and "Regional Sports Surcharge" aren't included.
