Outages for three days..now four

So what is going on with the outages in my area?  It has been three days wothout cable and internet and in your app you guys keep arbitrarily moving the times that it is estimated to be fixed.  I just wanted to know what's actually going on instead of these times being posted.  It is actually more annoying to keep having any estimated times posted than just saying hey we don't know when it is going to be fixed.
