Hi
Since this lets us know the email server is working, what would do is if the profile is set up To IMAP or Yahoos branded setup I would delete the profile from Outlook and set it back as you would to add a new account to Outlook. Please note If you are using POP/POP3 then you would need to back up the messages first.
