Not Receiving emails after being gone for 2 weeks Outlook Cox Yahoo Email

So, I was gone for 2 weeks, and I finally get to my computer. I fire up outlook and it's stuck on not receiving the emails. I re-entered the server settings and replaced the current password. I went as far as rebooting the computer thinking it would or could be that. It's been stuck on receiving for the last 2 hours. My personal phone can see and receive my emails just fine. As can my laptop which I use Outlook there too. Any thoughts or suggestions? Would like to have some insight. on this. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    Hi

    Since this lets us know the email server is working, what would do is if the profile is set up To IMAP or Yahoos branded setup I would delete the profile from Outlook and set it back as you would to add a new account to Outlook. Please note If you are using POP/POP3 then you would need to back up the messages first.
