My internet goes down every day around 5 am then comes back on several hours later. Technician already replaced my router/modem

My internet goes down every day around 5 am then comes back on several hours later. Already replaced\

Router Modem.  I see others having the same problem but does anyone know the solution?

    I am not able to login to my router, I don't have the user name or password.  The light either blinks orage or is a solid red.  Then several hours later, it will come back on for the rest of the day.  It usually goes down around 5:00 am everyday.

      Hi Tracye,

      Please look on the router for a sticker with the default User ID and password. Also, if your modem/router keeps going off, you may want to have another tech come out and investigate further. The Techs have access to their Field Services Tea. The Tech can escalate any issues that require further troubleshooting.         The technician came out again today and said the tap in the front yard is bad.  My neighbor is reporting problems with her internet going down too.  How do I make sure that Cox replaces the tap in the front yard.  My neighbor and I are connected to the same tap.
