is cox getting out of the email buisines
I seem to be having more and more issues with my email address. like it takes time for mail to be sent. were it disappears for hours then it is delivered.

In short, yes. Cox has outsourced their email to Rackspace and no longer offer it to new customers. Should still work, just not work well IMO.
