Internet

Sorry, I always post about WiFi not be consistency.  The same problem It's that I'm having is my internet speed drops to 0 and once I reset the modem the speed is back up and then later it drops again and I keep resetting it every time and the modem is hardwired to my work docking station and I'm unable to connect to my VPN.  The issue get resolved sometimes but it's happening more frequently.

Why did you create a new post and not answer my questions I made on your first post?

Wifi only or wired too? What model modem and router do you have? Do you lose the light(s) on the modem? Last, how does the coax get from the street/pole to the room the modem is in? Any splitters/amp/filters?

First of all you could have ask me that first question a better way.  If you knew what kind of day I had with the wifi not being consistent.  I'm not a tech so all I know is I have a new modem and its hardwired to my work docking station and when the speed drops its affect my wifi devices also. The light does not drop red only the speed drops.   I'm assuming it's a splitter through a ground wire not sure.

If you're not technical, I suggest just calling Cox and having a technician come out to troubleshoot.

BTW, I bet I had a worst day then you. Insurance company informed me they aren't covering a bill for over 3K so I am basically in the red. All I was asking is why your posted twice. How is that insulting? I wanted to know because I recently had a post deleted several times because of a link I included, so I wondered if some glitch happened with your post. It seems though you are just new to forums and how they work.

Great Morning!  It was just the way you ask.  I didn't say It was insulting at all. But, then you came back and stated if you're not  technical I suggest you call Cox and that was in which I know to do that.   Yes, I'm new to the forum and maybe I didn't know how it work.  I never had any problems with my services with Cox like I'm having now and I never posted anything using the forum.  I've been working from home for 5 years and never had these problems before until recently.
