Internet outage

The internet has been down almost 18 hours here in Bixby OK. All we get is the generic message below. I tried calling support but it seems that if you have an outage in your area you can’t talk to anyone in technical support. The call literally ends. Anyone else seeing this?

 

We're still working to get your service back online, but unfortunately it's taking a bit longer than expected. We'll send a text update when we have more information. Reply PAUSE to mute texts for this outage.

      Email is sent. So do you think that you will be able to provide more detailed updates or will I get the generic ‘we are working on it’ message? Also why can’t I talk to technical support if an outage is happening in my area?

  • Also the Cox WiFi hotspot is not working either. So that is not a possible workaround.
