Intermittent Internet Connection for Several Weeks

Internet connection is dropping out about every 5 to 10 mins, it out for about 30 seconds to several minutes, and the will reconnect for another 5 to 10 minutes or so. Seems to happen any time of day or night and resetting my equipment makes no change. I have checked all of my physical connections and I am not using any splitters on my line. I have copied my logs from my modem when this happens in hopes it can shine a little light on what is happening when my connection goes south. I'm not sure how to make sense of this information but it generates a lot of warnings and notices when my connection is bad

    Can you show your signal levels too? Mostly a issue with the downstream OFDM channel. See here for all CM status codes.

    Wouldn't it be nice to be able to read signal strength and quality? Mine is out a lot over the past several months.

      If you have a Panoramic gateway, you can see the signal levels at 192.168.0.1 > login > Connection > Cox Network.  If you have a stand alone modem, you can see them at 192.168.100.1.

      Which modem are you using? Most stand alone modems make it easy to get signal strength and signal to noise ratio.
