Hi, Andrea. I'm so sorry for the issues you're having with Yahoo's SPAM filtering. Although support for that will be at Yahoo, with regards to your second question I can tell you that Gmail is free. Your address would change (obviously) but you may get better control over the filtering. This link may help: https://www.cox.com/residential/support/transfering-cox-email-content-to-another-email-provider.html. I hope this helps.
I have a gmail account, but I don't use it. I suppose I could, but I have no idea how to get all my Cox mail to be picked up by that account instead of by Yahoo. And then I'll still want to forward it to Outlook. What do you mean by a different address? I understand that I'd use a gmail address, but could other people still contact me through the Cox address? Maybe that's all explained in the link you posted, but it doesn't work. Can you post one that does?

Hi, Andrea. I'm sorry about the link. Though it does work for me, here is the originating link that will redirect you. https://www.cox.com/emailmove . Bear in mind, Yahoo is the support channel for their SPAM filter and I hope you are able to get this link to work. Here is the first link (as the dot may have interfered with the HTML):
