Fixed my issues

I see a lot of people still complaining about decent download speeds but terrible upload speeds, a problem which plagued me across multiple residences AND multiple modems for the better part of a decade. No amount of customer service or even begging could do the trick, until I started renting a Cox Cable Panoramic modem. So while I'm sure we all hate greedy and evil monopolies, if you really need that service perhaps the same could work for you.

Also, can anyone explain to me why Google Fiber doesn't have data caps? Too bad Cox fought so hard to keep them out of town.

I have the same internet package as my parents, roughly 5 miles away. The only difference is I rent cox's modem/router setup versus their personally owned modem and router at my parents. My internet is contaminated with jitter and theirs is fine. Maybe mine needs to be replaced?

I have been back and forth with Netgear and Cox trying to solve my gigablast approved devices CM1000 modem and R7000P Router only reaching below 168mgbs sometimes reaching way below 100mgbs. Netgear said it was the power that was wrong and should have been positive 7 not in the negatives as mine currently is still.  Modem: https://imgur.com/CR4iGwl  SpeedTest: https://imgur.com/INa4zzo I'm tired of going back and forth for a year now. I don't want to get cox's devices for rent, that is why I bought my own as their website said should be approved!!!  will see what happens this round.
