How do I set my Galaxy S7 to allow deletion of emails without deleting them from the Cox server. I want to clear out my phone but don't want to delete emails until I get on the computer and delete them there. Is this possible and if so, where are the settings. I don't see them on the S7 server settings.
delete, the re-create the account auto,. it will setup imap account.
pc needs to be pop3 account pop3 or when emails are deleted from phone, they're gone.
Thanks... I have the phone as an imap account. The PC is the same (imap) and I don't know if Cox will allow a Pop3. I tried, but it didn't seem to want to accept that.
yes they do, you'll have to setup manually.
all of my portable devices are imap & my pc is the only pop3.
i use outlook had to setup pop3, outlook does auto imap when initially setup.
in deleting the account, re-creating, your emails should be there if you use same login/pw..
