DoS Attacks and internet interruptions, is my computer being hacked?

Just looked at logs in modem and shows dos attacks, noticed internet being choppy around the same time. Is there any way to fix this or is it really the modem? is my computer being trolled thru during this process? if it is then I need to know how to stop this. The last attack I tracked the IP address to a source that is California that deals with IT. So, in short words...im lost!

Looks like my cable modem/router was the culprit for some reason. Switched to a cable modem and currently using nodes for wireless and everything seems to be ok now just getting sync issues and timing out. Looked at modem info and shows upstream power level seems low. Any suggestions?

    Hello TioJoser,

The modem has good signals. Are you noticing the upstream levels low at certain times of the day or anytime? Thanks
