Does Cox send you text messages asking you to call?
I received a text message from someone named Jill that supposedly works at Cox. Asking if we can talk. 704-774-3538. They are requesting when they can call me to discuss my services. Is this legit? Seems really fake.
Sounds like someone is phishing. You have to opt-in to receive text alerts from Cox. Text notification preferences are only used for appointment reminders, data usage billing notifications, or order confirmations.
