Cox said they increased my speed from 30 to 50 , well its still at 30

I got an email March 17th 2020 telling my cox essentials internet speed was being raised from 30 Mbps to 50 Mbps

So far I have not seen any speed increase, I have reset my modem/ router and in a phone call with tech support they tell me they the provisioning for 50 is there, but here there isnt the slightest hint of and speed increase.

Can someone at COX please help me

    What version of DOCSIS is your modem?

    Netgear CG3000Dv2:  DOCSIS 3.0, 8 × 4, Preferred 100, 100 Mbps / 10 Mbps

    You said there isn't the slightest hint of any increase.  What are you comparing this to...perception?  Could you hardwired directly to the modem and perform a speed test?  You may be getting 50 Mbps.

    What's the make/model of your router?

      My problem is resolved, I had 2 wireless routers attached and 1 was off, I turned it on and all was fixed, I then turned if off again and it stayed fixed.
