Cox said they increased my speed from 30 to 50 , well its still at 30

I got an email March 17th 2020 telling my cox essentials internet speed was being raised from 30 Mbps to 50 Mbps So far I have not seen any speed increase, I have reset my modem/ router and in a ph...

Netgear CG3000Dv2:  DOCSIS 3.0, 8 × 4, Preferred 100, 100 Mbps / 10 Mbps

You said there isn't the slightest hint of any increase.  What are you comparing this to...perception?  Could you hardwired directly to the modem and perform a speed test?  You may be getting 50 Mbps.

What's the make/model of your router?

    My problem is resolved, I had 2 wireless routers attached and 1 was off, I turned it on and all was fixed, I then turned if off again and it stayed fixed.
