Continuous problems

Does anyone else's internet constantly dropping connection? At least a few times a week I get the message that lan cable is disconnected then instantly reconnects, and cycles thru that a few times. Have gotten the message " unplanned outage" 2x in the last month or 2. A tech came out a couple weeks ago and found some splitter on my line and removed, but saw no improvement. Have documented at least a handful on times just in the last month of getting messages of no lan cable, internet disconnect, no Internet connection, no internet access. But this has been going on for months. I really wish I had another option for fibered ISP, but sadly they have the local monopoly. It ridiculous that I pay over $80 for the bare bones streamable internet that still has data caps when everything is online. Wish I could afford a higher tier package, but being on disability makes that impossible to afford. I'm sadly considering trying out competition, but they aren't any better from what I've read. May just be forced to go back to the way things were before everything was digital and online. Anyways if anyone has suggestions or ideas please let me know.

Edit. App said at 11pm that service would be restored at 2:45am this morning. Woke up to it now saying now will be after 10 am. So almost 12 hrs and no net and no answers, pathetic.
