Constant Modem Restarts Needed
Over the last four weeks (not without irony, the same time that the cost of our service went up), router restarts have been a near daily occurrence. Sometimes they happen on their own, presumably triggered remotely. Sometimes I have to do them. Mostly seem to revolve around host resolution.
Oddly, my work computer is logged into a corporate VPN through the modem's WiFi, and it never has issues loading content. Thankfully, my work does not suffer directly from the issues, but when the connectivity of our non-VPN devices suffer and demand a restart, it then becomes a disruption for work.
I have no expectation of resolution - just a frustrated vent.
