I have the same issue. Cox?
Hi Pianoman, to ensure the safety and security of customer privacy information, email messages sent from a Cox.net email address will require TLS v.1.0 security encryption or later. Customers using outdated email clients or mobile devices may receive a failed message when attempting to send an email. Please make sure that your devices and operating systems are up-to-date. -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator

Bzzt - try again. I am already running TLS 1.2, and this started happening today out of the blue.

How do I set TLS on an iphone. I don't even see that as an option? I'm using the cox server. Cox needs to communicate these changes to customer in real time messages.

So, in other words, what you're saying is that older devices that you can't update the software on are not secure on Cox?

Hi Pam613,
The safety and security of consumer privacy information remain paramount at Cox Communications. If you use a third-party server that does not utilize the most recent updated operating system, this may prevent you from sending emails using a Cox email address. -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator
