Hi Heisenberg, when the 3 Apple HomePod devices lose internet connection, are your other internet-connected devices also affected? -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
When they disconnect, all of my other devices on the same network work fine. It seems as though the HomePods cut in and out every minute or two.
The Pods are speakers, right? Do they stream from the router or though an iOS device? I wouldn't think streaming music requires a huge throughput. Are the speakers within a corner of your room?
They are Apple's equivalent of an Amazon Echo. I guess they would be classified as smart speakers or assistants. Instead of saying "Alexa" you say "Hey Siri" They are connected directly to my Wifi (not streaming through an iOS device). Speakers are spread out throughout the room, all being within 25 feet of my router.
