Contour cable box green light bar.

The green light bar on the Contour cable box has begun to blink intermittently.   Does not seem to affect reception but what does it mean?

It is connected to the Internet?  Perhaps a bad connection.  Are there any new notifications (press the Left arrow)?  Remote battery low?  What make/model do you have?
