Wifi name not listed

Newbie here. I’m in a multi-unit complex that provides internet service via a bulk Cox internet account. I have the Cox provided ARRIS TG1682G gateway, and I’m using the same name and password for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi as suggested.

The issue. When I attempt to connect my 2 Roku devices (can connect at 5GHz) and 2 Wyze cameras and plugs (need to connect at 2.4GHz ) I don’t see my WiFi Name listed in their settings. My phone and laptop connect with any issue.

What am I doing wrong ? Cox wants $10 per month for a support package to help me get this sorted out. Seems there should be no charge to get the devices going.

Is the router broadcasting the SSID?  Some routers have an option to not broadcast the name of your network in the clear.  If your router is not broadcasting the SSID, your Roku and cameras may not have the name to display.

@Gds

Look on the back of the gateway and nxt to 2.4 and 5 GHz you will see some characters those would be default network names. www.cox.com/.../TG1682_Panoramic_WiFiNetworkLabel.png

I read it as the OP changed the SSID and key.  Is that not an option with Cox rentals?
