modem/router my own

Davidoo - states that Netgear R6300 AC 1750 works in the Phoenix area, using the 100 Mbps pkg. Can someone confirm that's the case. I want to purchase my own modem/router that is compatible w/ Cox Comm.

Didn't Davidoo confirm it?  If nobody else in the Phoenix-area confirms, the Netgear C6300 and C6300BD are both listed as Cox Certified Cable Modems.

Hi Mannyb555, you can use any modem or modem/router combo (Gateway) as long as it is included on the list of devices at www.cox.com/.../cox-certified-cable-modems.html. There are no restrictions on standalone routers. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
