DOCSIS Network Access Enabled Denied
North Phoenix here, with some history first.
Service at this residence for over two years, same setup, no changes, with exception of modem upgrade six months ago.
- Home run from the "modem" the demarcation on the side of the house.
- No splices, splitters, amplifiers between demarcation and modem.
- There is a router on the LAN side of the modem, however it should not affect the DOCIS network.
No Internet this morning.
- Error on modem of "DOCSIS Network Access Enabled Denied"
- Multiple resets of modem, no change in "error"
- Only a single channel up and down locked.

Do you still have your previous modem from 6 months ago? If so, install it for a test.

This indicates that the modem isn't properly provisioned on the network. It means just what it says: the DOCSIS network isn't allowing the modem to access the network. Very odd that you received a suggestion to bypass the router, as this has nothing at all to do with the router. Glad to hear they fixed it on their end.
